CITeR is a unique cooperative model which addresses industry and government challenges and provides an over 20 times return on investment. University of North Carolina at Charlotte is excited to now lead CITeR.

About
CITeR is the only National Science Foundation (NSF) Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (IUCRC) focusing on serving its members in the rapidly growing areas of identity science and biometric recognition through interdisciplinary group of faculty, researchers, and students.
The key to CITeR’s success is the participation of its members. IUCRC’s are unique in that their members become directly involved in all phases of the Centers research from planning to completion. As an member, you can help us make sure our activities meet your organization’s needs.
